Triodos Bank Annual Meeting 2013 – Here is an interesting opportunity to learn about a new way of banking with an open invitation to Triodos Bank’s AGM which is like no other. Its on Saturday 7 September 2013 in Bristol and entitled Meet the Changemakers.
Triodos Bank connects savers and investors who want to change the world for the better with entrepreneurs and sustainable companies doing just that. They are the only specialist bank to offer integrated lending and investment opportunities for sustainable sectors in a number of European countries.
This year’s annual meeting is a chance for their customers, investors and anyone who’s interested in a more progressive approach to banking to find out more about their work. The theme will be ‘Changemakers’ , examining the people and initiatives that are laying the foundation stones for a more sustainable future in terms of finance, energy, food and civil society.
“We’d love to reach out to new people, so if you’re already a customer, why not invite along someone who isn’t? We think they’ll find our annual meeting to be unlike any other bank’s – but then we’re a very different kind of bank”.
Programme – The morning session will focus on Triodos Bank, with the afternoon opening up for a broader discussion. You’re welcome to attend either session or both, but please let us know when you register for your place. The afternoon session speakers include:
George Ferguson – Mayor of Bristol
Rosie Boycott – Chair of London Food
Simon Roberts OBE – Centre for Sustainable Energy
Catherine Howarth – ShareAction
John Verge – Golden Lane Housing
Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. You can learn more about reserving your place here
Refreshments will be provided. The Folk House Cafe who are a Triodos Bank customer will be selling a vegetarian lunch at £6 per head. The lunch will be a salad box which will include tortilla, houmous, salad, olives, bean salad, aioli and bread.
