Our programme for the week 11th June, 2015

President Elect Mary has the task this week of leading the discussion on our plans for the new Rotary Year 2015/16 at our Click 4 Action eRotary Assembly.

Mary is comparatively new to Rotary and a founder member of the eClub. She hopes that all our members will help continue the Action, Service and good times we have had since we were chartered in February 2012, whilst helping with our continued development, evolving and being innovative in how we continue to Rotary online.

  • The Let’s Loop Swindon campaign and Malmesbury Flood Defences will be a continued with our teams of Rotary Community Corps (RCC). We hope to encourage other Rotary Clubs to develop opportunities for volunteers in a RCC.
  • eAwareness of Mental Health, Autism, Personal Safety will feature in our campaigns on Social Media.
  • Encouraging Youth involvement through Interact, Rotaract, Young Writers and other opportunities.
  • Encouraging our Rotarians to promote eRotary, support other Rotary activities and some international engagement.
  • Developing communications with each other, in what suits us best, ensuring that we remain flexible to everyone.
  • Continuing to support the Rotary Charity (the Rotary Foundation) through our eDraw and other ways.
  • Above all responding to members’ interests, passions, hopes, ideas and ensuring we remain responsive to change.IMG_3950

It all looks eminently sensible to me. I do much of my activity through my work talking to clubs and districts when I always plug 1100e.
