There are 2 items I need to bring to your attention:-
- Rachel Ashley has stood down from becoming President of the eClub next year. After talking this through with Sinead Darker, our current Junior Vice President, it has been proposed that Janice Mason becomes President for the Rotary year 2013-14, with Sinead taking the position as originally planned in 2014-15, followed by Debbie Vincent in 2015-16 as proposed at our General Meeting in December. It is also proposed that Tim Mason becomes the eClub Secretary from July 2013. If there are no objections to this received within the next week, it will be taken as agreed.
- The new District membership directory on the District website is now live and searchable. The logon page is at http://www.rotary-ribi.org/clublogin.php?ClubID= and most of you will have to request a new password to be able to use the site effectively. It’s quite easy to use, including being able to contact members within other groups/clubs, even if you don’t know their name – for example, if the treasurer is who you’re after, you can send a message to “treasurer” and it will go to the person who is named in that position. Rachel Davis is our nominated administrator for this District site, who having entered all your relevant details thinks that it would be good for all members to have a look around the website and familiarise themselves with it a bit – and update any details that are wrong (although these should be up to date).
Great news that Janice is going to be our new President, although Shame that Rachel has decided not to do it. I’m sure that Tim will make a good secretary to Janice!! Get the kettle on Tim, start practicing!!
Janice it’s great you have stepped in to the breach. I hope you did not feel obliged to do it . You and Tim might have liked an e club official break. I am very pleased at the continuity though. Take care, Mary

I have signed in and got a log in for the database, ie get to the e club but there is no information at all, how do I access the database you have set up so that I can make contacts as suggested by Tim. Please.

Hi Rachel, I’ve logged into MDE, but can’t also see how to get into the Directory, this isn’t the easiest of websites, please can you advise, I’m sure its something simple! Thanks Tim
