Honestly ! Several species of bat benefit from well maintained hedges which form a wildlife corridor across the pasture land in the Severn Vale.

Please come and help environmental charity Stroud Valleys Project plant some new hedges at Arlingham, near Gloucester.

Sunday February 17th 10-1pm. Wear warm clothing and hiking boots or wellies. Bring a snack and a warm drink to keep you going and we can retire to a local pub for a well deserved lunch. (The Ship at Framilode does a great value roast lunch.)

Hi Katherine This is just the sort of thing which greatly appeals. It happens to be one of my sisters’ birthday, which we often celebrate with lunch. No arrangements made thus far, so will join you if we sisters do not go out together. Regards Jill
